Your First Visit

When you arrive for your child’s first visit, we will ask you to fill out several forms that will get you acquainted with our office and will provide us with health information that will allow us to begin dental treatment. Your child’s initial exam will last approximately one hour. Oral hygiene instructions will be provided along with suggestions to help you care for your child’s teeth. In most cases, we will also clean your child’s teeth on this visit and provide an evaluation that will outline any dental problems and proposed treatment.

Financial Information

We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. Please ask us about financing options and credit card payments. We thoroughly explain your options, so that we can accommodate your needs.

Emergency Info

What to do in case of emergency

Call our office as soon as possible. Please do not come directly to the office – by calling us, you will allow us to create a time to see you. Even if you have a regular appointment scheduled, call us immediately to notify us.

Broken Tooth

Rinse the area with warm water. Put a cold compress over the facial area of the injury. Recover any broken tooth fragments. Get immediate dental attention.

Bleeding After a Baby Tooth Falls Out

Fold a piece of gauze and place it (tightly) over the bleeding area. Bite down on the gauze for 15 minutes; if bleeding continues, see a dentist.

Knocked Out Permanent Tooth

Recover the tooth, making sure to hold it by the crown (top) and not the root end. Rinse, but do not clean or handle the tooth more than necessary. Reinsert the tooth in the socket and hold it in place using a clean piece of gauze or cloth. If the tooth cannot be reinserted, carry it in a cup containing milk or water. Because time is essential, see a dentist immediately.
